"Fabulous comfy house, stylishly presented and very generous touches (milk, bread, eggs, biscuits, jam). Well-equipped kitchen, comfy sitting room with choice of seating areas, super comfy bedrooms and fab bathroom. Responsive and friendly host. Flexible check in and check out. Easy to find from main road yet delightfully quiet at end of farm driveway. Gorgeous countryside and coastal walks nearby. Would definitely recommend."

Catrin was responsive to a minor internet issue, keen to resolve the problem for us which was appreciated. It was lovely and quiet with peaceful surroundings, generous outdoor space, close enough to Dorchester with two local farm shops on hand and a choice of beaches too. "Wonderful stay over NYE. We ate in and had all the kitchen equipment we needed. Clean and spacious hideaway for 2. Great shower & very comfortable bed with good quality linen. It was so peaceful. We enjoyed feeding the chickens although unfortunately the hedgehogs did not make an appearance. Easy drive to the coast (Lulworth Cove etc) & decent pubs with food. Thanks for a lovely stay."

The small hamlet of Galton is situated jut off the A352, close to the village of Owermoigne, Dorchester. Ringstead Bay is due south to Galton. To the East, West and North, Galton is surrounded by farmland.

Galton farm is a perfect base to visit the Dorset Jurassic coast.
